Role Overview:

As a Weekend Caregiver at Assisting Hands of Greater Cleveland, you will be responsible for providing compassionate, on-site support to our clients during the weekends. In this role, you'll collaborate closely with our caregiving team to deliver exceptional assistance with daily living activities and ensure a safe and comfortable environment for our clients. You will have the opportunity to positively impact the lives of Veterans and seniors, while enjoying a rewarding and supportive workplace.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, and meal preparation. Provide medication reminders and light housekeeping support. Deliver specialized care for clients recovering from surgery or facing health challenges. Foster a compassionate and respectful environment that promotes client dignity and comfort. Collaborate with the caregiving team to ensure each client's needs and preferences are met.

Qualifications:

You're a great fit if you have the following skills. Experience in caregiving or a related field. Strong communication skills in English. Compassionate nature and a commitment to serving others. Ability to work collaboratively with a team of caregivers. Flexible schedule with availability to work weekends.

Bonus If You:

Have certification in first aid and CPR. Possess knowledge of dementia and specialized care programs. Are familiar with the VA Community Care Network (CCN) and benefits for Veterans.

Employment Type & Availability:
