Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking compassionate, dependable, and experienced professionals to join our growing team as a Residential Support Specialist. In this role, you will provide direct support to individuals with developmental disabilities, promoting independence, dignity, community inclusion, and a high quality of life. This position is ideal for someone who is passionate about helping others, thrives in a team environment, and is committed to providing exceptional care. Qualifications Current Ohio Medication Administration Certification - Med Cert (Preferred) High school diploma or GED Valid driver's license with a clean driving record Ability to pass all required background checks Current CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain) Reliable transportation Strong communication and documentation skills Direct Support Training Certifications House Manager or Lead DSP experience is a plus and will be given special consideration. Responsibilities Provide person-centered supports based on each individual's ISP. Administer medications in accordance with Ohio DODD regulations. Assist with personal care, hygiene, meal preparation, and household tasks. Support individuals in community activities, appointments, and recreational outings. Complete accurate documentation and daily notes. Maintain a clean, safe, and respectful home environment. Communicate effectively with supervisors, families, and interdisciplinary team members. Follow all agency policies and Ohio DODD requirements.
