Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Provide in-home care and assistance to clients, following their individual care plans
- Assist with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting
- Administer medications as prescribed by healthcare professionals
- Assist with meal preparation and feeding
- Perform light housekeeping tasks, such as tidying up and laundry
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients
- Escort clients to appointments and outings, as needed
- Document and report any changes in clients' condition or behavior to the appropriate supervisor
Skills:
- Compassionate and caring attitude towards elderly or disabled individuals
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to follow instructions and work independently
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to handle emergency situations calmly
- Basic knowledge of personal care techniques and infection control practices
- Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
