Resident Care Assistant (RCA) Silvercrest of Urbana | Urbana, Ohio Make Every Day Matter. Join the Silvercrest of Urbana Family! Silvercrest of Urbana Assisted Living is looking for compassionate, dependable, and caring Resident Care Assistants (RCAs) to join our team! If you have a passion for helping seniors live with dignity, independence, and purpose, we'd love to meet you. As a Resident Care Assistant, you'll play an important role in creating a warm, welcoming environment while providing personalized care and support to our residents.
What You'll Do:
Assist residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Help residents safely transfer and ambulate. Support residents during mealtimes and encourage proper nutrition and hydration. Observe and report changes in residents' physical or emotional condition. Build meaningful relationships with residents and their families. Maintain a clean, safe, and comfortable living environment. Work collaboratively with nurses and the interdisciplinary care team to provide exceptional resident care.
What We're Looking For:
Compassionate, patient, and dependable individuals. Excellent communication and teamwork skills. Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required—we are happy to train the right candidate! Ability to provide respectful, person-centered care.
