Job Description
Job Summary Join our dedicated team as an In-Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care. We are a faith-based agency, and in this vital role, you will provide compassionate support to clients within their homes, promoting independence, safety, and well-being. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a nurturing environment where clients feel valued and cared for. This position offers the opportunity to work closely with seniors and those needing specialized memory or dementia care. Your efforts will directly enhance the quality of life and foster positive relationships within the community. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene, to promote dignity and independence Support medication administration with reminders and assistance Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal consumption when necessary Provide transportation assistance for medical appointments, errands, or social activities to foster community engagement Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces Document client interactions, care provided, and any changes in condition; communicate effectively with healthcare teams and family members Support clients with cognitive impairments such as Alzheimer's or dementia through specialized memory care techniques and patient observation Follow all home health protocols, including hospice care procedures when applicable; adhere strictly to HIPAA guidelines to protect client confidentiality Qualifications All applicants must be members of a local church and comfortable praying with and providing spiritual encouragement to clients. Experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is a plus, but for the right candidate, we provide paid training. Ability to assist with ADLs efficiently while maintaining compassion and patience Excellent communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration; understanding of HIPAA compliance standards Join us in providing exceptional home-based care that transforms lives!
