Overview :

Because this position involves intimate personal care and privacy-sensitive services, a male caregiver is preferred/required based on the client's personal-care needs and privacy considerations . Looking for someone who can do late afternoon to early evenings 2 - 4 times a week. You'll be providind personalized, one-on-one care to help Veterans remain safely and comfortably in their own homes. Your compassion, reliability, and dedication will make a meaningful difference in the lives of our clients and their families.

Responsibilities Include:

Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as Bathing, Dressing, Grooming, Toileting, Mobility and transfers (including Hoyer lifts when needed) Provide medication reminders . Prepare nutritious meals based on clients' dietary needs and preferences. Monitor clients for changes in condition and report concerns promptly to the office. Observe and document vital signs when required. Provide compassionate care for individuals living with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, PTSD and chronic pain. Perform light housekeeping duties, such as Laundry, Dishes, Sweeping and mopping, Bathroom and kitchen cleaning, Organizing living areas. Provide companionship and emotional support while promoting independence, dignity, and quality of life. Qualifications Previous experience in home health, home care, assisted living, nursing homes, group homes, or other caregiving settings is preferred. Experience working with seniors and or veterans. Ability to safely lift, transfer, and assist clients using mobility equipment when necessary. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and current auto insurance. Ability to pass required background checks. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Dependable, compassionate, patient, and committed to providing exceptional care. Pay:

$14.00 - $17.00 per hour
