Night Shift Caregiver (NOC)
Schedule:
Friday, Saturday & Sunday | 6:00 PM - 6:00 AM (36 hours/week) Position Summary We are looking for a reliable, compassionate, and motivated Night Shift Caregiver to join our team. This position is responsible for providing quality resident care while maintaining a clean, organized, and safe home environment during overnight hours. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and able to work independently. Essential Job Duties Resident Care Administer scheduled medications at 8:00 PM in accordance with facility policies. Assist one resident with their bedtime routine and safely prepare them for bed. Perform routine overnight wellness and safety checks on all residents. Provide incontinence care, including changing briefs, cleaning residents, and ensuring their comfort throughout the night. Monitor residents for changes in condition and report concerns promptly. Housekeeping & Cleaning Sweep and mop all floors. Clean and sanitize all frequently touched surfaces. Sanitize bathrooms, kitchen counters, tables, and other commonly used areas. Load and start the dishwasher and put away clean dishes. Dust and sanitize all living areas. Clean windows and windowsills. Move lightweight furniture as needed to sweep and clean underneath. Organize and tidy common areas and supplies as needed to maintain a clean and welcoming home. Qualifications Previous caregiving experience preferred. Medication administration experience or certification preferred (or willingness to become certified if required). Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Strong attention to detail and excellent time management skills. Reliable attendance and punctuality are essential. Ability to safely assist residents with mobility and personal care. What We're Looking For Compassionate and respectful attitude toward residents. Strong work ethic and dependable attendance.
