Job Overview We are seeking compassionate and dedicated caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in various care settings. Caregivers play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for those they serve, ensuring their safety, comfort, and well-being. This position involves working with diverse populations, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized care. Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Provide companionship and emotional support to enhance the client's quality of life. Monitor and document vital signs and changes in the client's condition. Administer medications as prescribed and ensure adherence to care plans. Maintain a clean and safe living environment through regular cleaning and organization tasks. Support clients in mobility using equipment such as Hoyer lifts, Sera steady, transfer poles, and other supportive devices when necessary. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote cognitive function and social interaction. Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer's, dementia, and/or developmental disabilities. Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care strategies. Skills First aid and CPR certification is preferred. Experience in group homes or assisted living facilities is highly desirable. Strong patient observation skills to identify changes in behavior or health status. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations to ensure client confidentiality. Ability to perform heavy lifting when assisting clients with mobility challenges. Experience with simple meal prep and dietary restrictions is a plus. Knowledge of care plans and safety protocols is essential. Compassionate approach towards caregiving with a focus on patient-centered care. Experience working with individuals with complex health/care needs, extensive transfer assistance, elderly, dementia, and/or developmental disabilities is advantageous.
