Caregivers help clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent in their own homes while providing companionship and assistance with daily living activities. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including: Bathing Dressing Grooming Toileting Mobility and transfers Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding as needed. Perform light housekeeping, including laundry, dishes, vacuuming, and tidying living areas. Provide companionship and emotional support. Assist with grocery shopping and running errands. Remind clients to take medications (no medication administration unless authorized and trained). Accompany clients to appointments and community outings. Observe and report changes in client condition to the office or supervisor. Maintain accurate documentation of care provided. Follow all company policies, client care plans, and safety procedures. Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. High school diploma or GED preferred. Previous caregiving experience is preferred but not required—we provide training. CNA or equivalent experience is a plus. Ability to pass a criminal background check. Reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and proof of auto insurance (if transporting clients). Current CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and assist with client transfers when necessary. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, dependable, and trustworthy.
