Live-In Caregiver - Premier Elder Care, LLC (Ashland, OR) Join Our Exceptional Care Team! We value open communication, teamwork, and a positive attitude toward growth and improvement. We are seeking a dedicated Live-In Caregiver to join our team at our Ashland Residential Care Home. This position includes living on site and working 3 scheduled 24-hour shifts, which may be consecutive or non-consecutive. In addition, there are 2 two-hour morning helper shifts each week, working alongside another caregiver . On those mornings, the remainder of the day is off until the evening. You will have two full days off per week. This role is a good fit for someone who values consistency, enjoys being part of a small home setting, and is comfortable with a structured yet flexible schedule. It is ideal for a single individual or a couple with adult children or no children who are comfortable living on site in a shared residential care setting.

Compensation & Benefits:

Hourly Pay:

$19 -$20 per hour for all working hours directly with residents.

Extra Shifts Available:

Opportunity to pick up additional shifts to gain more hours and increase earnings.

Free Room and Board:

Private living area within the residence available 7 days a week. All utilities covered , including Wi-Fi. Referral Program $500

SIGN-ON BONUS:

Available if DHS orientation and EQC courses are completed before applying.

Technology-Enhanced Care:

Modern electronic health records (EHR) and electronic medication administration records (EMAR) simplify care tasks.

Job Responsibilities:

Personal Care Assistance:

Support residents with daily living activities such as toileting, personal hygiene, dressing, bathing and mobility.

Medication Administration:

Manage and document medication distribution accurately.

Household Duties:

Including meal preparation, housekeeping, and laundry.

Monitoring Health:

Detect and report any abnormal health issues to the nurse and primary care provider.

Emergency Response:

Be available for resident needs during on-site hours and overnight stays.

Requirements:

Minimum Age:

21

Background Check:

Ability to pass a comprehensive background check.

Health and Fitness:

Demonstrated physical and mental wellness, sound judgment, strong critical thinking skills, and solid character are required. Candidates must be able to pass random drug testing and breathalyzer testing.

Communication:

Proficiency in spoken and written English. Current CPR and First Aid certification . Completion of DHS-approved orientation and the Department's Ensuring Quality Care Course with a passing score on the exam. Oregon EQC Certificate (Preferred).

Experience:

At least 2 years of verifiable experience in elderly care. How to
