This role involves providing personalized support to individuals with developmental disabilities. As a Sub Care Giver, you will be a part of creating a safe, respectful, and engaging environment for residents while ensuring their comfort and well-being. This position offers an opportunity to develop your caregiving expertise and contribute positively to the lives of the residents. Responsibilities Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status Administer medications following prescribed protocols and document all medication activities accurately Engage residents in social activities, promote mental stimulation, and encourage participation in community events Maintain cleanliness of common areas through routine cleaning and sanitation practices Communicate effectively with residents' families and care teams to ensure coordinated care plans Follow resident's rights policies diligently to promote dignity, independence, and respect for each individual Qualifications Prior experience in assisted living, or residential care environments is desirable but not essential Ability to assist with ADLs and provide personal care with compassion and professionalism Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; ongoing training is encouraged (paid training in CPR and First Aid available if needed) Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Valid driver's license for standard passenger car operation is a plus for community outings or home visits Join us in delivering exceptional care that enhances the quality of life for our residents!
