Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Professional Caregiver to join our Veteran and Family owened team in the Glide and Roseburg areas. This vital role involves providing high-quality, personalized care to individuals with diverse needs, including seniors, individuals with disabilities, and those requiring specialized support such as dementia or Alzheimer's care. As a caregiver, you will play a key role in enhancing the quality of life for our clients by delivering attentive patient care, assisting with daily activities, and ensuring a safe, comfortable environment. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs and observing for any changes or symptoms requiring attention Administer medications following care plans and HIPAA regulations to ensure safety and compliance Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and nutritional needs while maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards Use proper patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and manual handling techniques to ensure safety during mobility assistance Maintain detailed documentation of patient progress, care plans, and incident reports in accordance with healthcare protocols Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being and foster positive relationships Skills Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or aging populations such as geriatrics or hospice care Knowledge of dementia care, memory care, Alzheimer's care, and clients' personalized care plans. Proficiency in patient observation, monitoring vital signs, medication administration, and first aid Familiarity with assisted living environments, home services, nursing homes, and long-term care settings Ability to perform light lifting, twisting, bending safely using proper techniques; experience with clients' transfer methods like Hoyer lifts is preferred Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration Capable of performing light cleaning duties to maintain a hygienic environment for clients Join us if you're passionate about caregiving and eager to provide compassionate support that truly makes a difference!
