Personal Support Worker Family Medical Foster Home Turner, OR Job Details Part-time From $18 an hour 1 day ago Qualifications Teamwork Heavy lifting Tube feeding Diaper changing Meal preparation Bathing assistance Behavioral health Full Job Description Overview We are a dog friendly family with 3 special needs young adults that require full assistance with all activities of daily living. We are looking for dependable, patient, non-smoking people who are able to lift 40 plus pounds and able to pass criminal and ODHS background checks. Experience helpful but will train the right person. Do to personal care needed on two young females we are looking for female caretakers. Located in the town of Marion (halfway between Turner and Jefferson). Duties Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and diaper changes. give medications and running a feeding pump help with individual behavioral support plans is calm, patient way Assist with mobility and transfers using equipment such as Hoyer lifts or manual handling techniques, wheelchairs and gait trainers. Prepare meals, cleaning, household tasks, laundry and attending outings or walks around property Experience Prior experience working in group homes, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments is highly desirable, but we will train. experience working with individuals with autism or intellectual disabilities is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using proper manual handling techniques; experience operating patient transfer equipment such as Hoyer lifts is advantageous. Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration are essential
