Job Description

We're looking for a reliable caregiver to support a young man with an intellectual and developmental disability in his home and community. His family speaks Korean, so a caregiver who also speaks Korean would be a wonderful fit. He loves being outdoors and he enjoys going for walks and spending time drawing and painting. The right person is patient, encouraging, and genuinely glad to spend the day alongside him: supporting his interests, keeping him safe, and helping him stay active and engaged in his community.
pay rate:
$22/hour
Schedule:
Monday:
9:00 AM•4:00
PM Tuesday:
9:00 AM•4:00
PM Friday:
2:00 PM•5:00
PM Total:
17 hours per week. What you'll do Accompany and support him on walks and outings in the community Encourage his drawing, painting, and other creative activities Support his daily routines, safety, and personal goals Help him connect with his community and stay active Keep simple, accurate notes on the support you provide What we expect from caregiver (the rest we can teach): Must be 18+ with a high school diploma or GED Able to complete Pennsylvania's required background clearances and agency training before starting Reliable transportation to reach the family's home (valid driver's license preferred)
Pay:
$22.00 per hour Expected hours: 17.0 per week
