Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 3:00 PM Job Description This school is seeking compassionate, dependable, and student-focused Personal Care Assistants (PCAs) and Paraeducators to support school-age students with special needs. In this role, you will work closely with classroom teachers, therapists, and educational professionals to assist students with their academic, behavioral, social-emotional, and daily living needs.

Key Responsibilities Student Support:

Provide individual and small-group support to assist students with classroom learning and transitions.

IEP & Behavioral Plans:

Assist in implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and positive behavioral support plans. Activities of Daily Living (ADLs): Assist students with mobility, feeding, personal care, and hygiene/toileting needs as required.

Behavior Management:

Help students develop social and communication skills; assist with crisis intervention and behavior de-escalation using approved DCIU procedures.

Data & Documentation:

Track and document student progress, performance, and behavioral data.

Collaboration & Safety:

Work closely with a multidisciplinary team (teachers, therapists, counselors) to maintain a safe, inclusive, and positive learning environment while adhering to FERPA confidentiality guidelines. QualificationsMinimum Requirements High School Diploma or GED. Ability to pass required state and federal background clearances. Reliable transportation and consistent attendance. Preferred Qualifications Associate's Degree. Prior experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with special needs. Background in Special Education, Emotional Support, Behavioral Health, Autism Support, or PCA roles. Strong communication, documentation, and interpersonal skills.
