Description Qualifications:

Individual must be 21 years of age or older in good physical, mental, and emotional health and able to perform numerous tasks. Able to read and write with clarity - sufficiently to follow instructions and understand directions. Able to write reports daily and or when necessary. Able to take messages. Persons in this position direct resident activities in a housing unit, work areas, and dining areas. Ensures that policies are adhered to at all times and provides guidance in assisting the residents in their adjustment to, and participation in the rehabilitative process. Work involves contact and involvement with all residents. Hourly wage starts at $13.00 with little or no experience. •The job is part-time between 24 and 32 hours per week with the shift being either 7:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. or 3:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. •

Essential Duties:

Continually observe resident behavior, be alert for signs of duress or unrest - indications of change in personal behavior patterns. Inform resident of changes in policies or daily activity schedules. Answer questions that residents have. Maintain order and ensure harmony within the center. Responsible for the accomplishment of the daily non-routine action report during assigned shift. Make periodic rounds through assigned shift. Additional Details
