Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Caregiver to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. Full time 7 days first shift 3 seconds. Must be will to work ever Other weekend. The ideal candidate will have experience in various caregiving settings, including hospice care and personal care. This role requires a commitment to enhancing the quality of life for patients through attentive care and companionship. Responsibilities Provide personal care services, including bathing, grooming, and dressing. Assist with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met. Monitor patient health by observing physical and emotional conditions. Support patients with daily living activities while promoting independence. Maintain a clean and safe environment for patients. Document patient progress and report any changes to healthcare professionals. Offer companionship and engage in meaningful conversations with patients. Assist in hospice care as needed, ensuring comfort during end-of-life stages. Work collaboratively with family members and healthcare teams to provide optimal care. Requirements Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred. Knowledge of hospice care practices is a plus. Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary restrictions or preferences. Strong patient observation skills to monitor health changes effectively. Experience working with individuals with disabilities or autism is desirable. Excellent communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients. Compassionate nature with a strong desire to help others.
