Position Overview:

Our client is hiring 1 PCA to support student for the 2026-2027 school year. These roles are critical in providing individualized academic, behavioral, and personal care support to students with autism, under the guidance of certified staff and case managers.

Key Responsibilities:

Work 1:1 with students with autism to support academic instruction, behavior plans, and daily routines. Assist with instruction in cognitive development, communication, motor skills, and social-emotional learning. Support students with personal care needs, including feeding, toileting, hygiene, and mobility. Implement positive behavior support strategies and monitor student behavior in line with IEP goals. Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and support staff to ensure consistency in student programming. Maintain accurate documentation of student progress and daily activities. Attend required training sessions related to autism support, medical protocols, and instructional strategies. Assist with the use of orthopedic equipment and positioning of students as needed. Promote positive peer interactions and inclusive classroom environments.

Qualifications:

High School Diploma or equivalent (required) Experience working with children or students (required)

Preferred:

Experience in Autistic Support, Special Education, or Behavioral/Mental Health settings Must obtain CPR and First Aid certification prior to start date Credentialing Requirements (must be current within 12 months): PA Child Abuse Clearance PA Criminal Background Check PA FBI Fingerprint Clearance TB Test Results High School Diploma or Transcripts CPR/First Aid Certification Medical, dental, and vision insurance are available to qualified candidates who meet eligibility requirements.
