Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Med-Tech Full-Time 2nd Shift to join our dynamic healthcare team. In this vital role, you will provide high-quality patient care and support within a senior living or healthcare facility, ensuring residents receive personalized assistance that promotes their well-being and dignity. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help create a safe, comfortable environment for our residents, especially those with medical needs. Responsibilities Assist residents with personal care activities including bathing, dressing, mobility, and hygiene to promote independence and comfort Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, respiration, and temperature accurately using electronic health record (EHR) systems Administer medications following prescribed protocols while maintaining strict adherence to HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards Support residents with specialized needs such as Alzheimer's care, dementia care, or memory care, ensuring a safe environment tailored to their requirements Assist with medical procedures including tube feeding, catheter care, and basic life support (BLS) as needed under supervision or protocol Document all patient interactions, medical records, and care activities precisely using EMR systems like Epic or Cerner for seamless communication among healthcare providers Engage in manual handling practices safely when assisting with heavy lifting or repositioning residents to prevent injury and ensure comfort Skills Prior assisted living experience or nursing home experience is highly preferred; experience working in senior care is a plus Knowledge of medical terminology, physiology, anatomy, and senior care best practices to deliver competent patient care Certification in Medication Administrator, CPR and First Aid; additional certifications such as hospice care or home care are advantageous Ability to work effectively within state healthcare regulations and maintain resident personal care assistance standards Strong communication skills for caregiving tasks and caregiver interactions that foster trust and clarity among residents and team members Med-Tech Train-the-trainer certification preferred Join us in delivering compassionate care that transforms lives!
