Caregiver / Home Health Aide Make a difference in the life of a senior — every day. At Home Instead, we believe growing older should never mean growing alone. Our team is looking for dependable, compassionate Caregivers and Home Health Aides (HHAs). If you enjoy helping people, listening to their stories, and making someone's day a little better, this could be the right job for you. You do not need years of experience to get started. Paid training is available, and we welcome people who are new to caregiving and want to build a rewarding career in senior care. What You'll Do As a Caregiver / Home Health Aide, you will provide one-on-one, non-medical care in a senior's home. Every client is different, but your goal is always the same: help them feel safe, respected, comfortable, and cared for.
Your responsibilities may include:
Providing friendly companionship and emotional support Assisting with bathing, grooming, and dressing Supporting safe movement around the home Helping prevent falls and watching for safety concerns Preparing meals and providing nutrition support Giving medication reminders as directed Helping with light housekeeping and everyday home care Supporting errands and other daily activities when needed Encouraging independence and dignity Keeping families and the Home Instead team informed about care needs Documenting care activities as required What We Offer We want our caregivers to feel supported, valued, and prepared to do their best work.

Full-time, part-time, weekends, and overnight shifts Consistent schedules: Work with a schedule that fits your life Competitive pay: $16-$20 per hour, based on factors such as day of week and length of visit Overtime pay: Time and a half for eligible overtime Holiday pay: Time and a half for company holidays Medical and supplemental benefits Paid Time Off (PTO) 401(k) with employer match Company paid life insurance Early access to earned wages Caregiver referral program 24/7 office support Paid ongoing caregiver training Professional development opportunities Who We're Looking For You may be a great fit for this position if you are: Kind, patient, and compassionate Dependable and responsible A good listener and communicator Comfortable helping older adults with personal care Able to work independently in a client's home Committed to treating every senior with dignity and respect Willing to learn and grow as a caregiver We welcome both experienced caregivers and people who are new to the field. Experience as a Caregiver, Home Health Aide (HHA), Personal Care Aide (PCA), Direct Support Professional (DSP), Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA), Companion, or Home Care Aide is a plus. Experience in senior care, elder care, assisted living, nursing homes, personal care, or home health care is also helpful. At least one year of personal or professional caregiving experience is preferred, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply. Paid training is available. Requirements Must be able to work at least one weekend day Must have a clean driving record Must have a reliable vehicle Must be able to pass a background check and meet hiring requirements Must be able to provide compassionate, reliable care in a client's home
