access Abilities, a local non-profit subsidiary of Lifesteps, Inc., is seeking part-time, compassionate, caring individuals to provide assistance to participants with personal care and daily living tasks in the Indiana, PA area for our Home & Community Services program. Work as little as 4 hours per week, or up to 28 hours per week. The right candidate will enjoy helping others with personal care such as bathing, personal hygiene, transferring to/from bed, laundry, housekeeping, shopping and preparing meals. Tasks may also include assisting with personal support equipment such as wheelchairs, manual/electric lifts, and leg braces, etc.

Caregiver Position Requirements:

• Must be 18 years or older
• No experience is necessary. Paid training is provided.
• Ability to lift, carry, push and/or pull up to 40 lbs. without assistance and up to 200 lbs. with assistance (hoyer lift)
• Valid driver's license/auto insurance
• Ability to obtain ACT 33/34 and FBI clearances required.
