Job Description

We're hiring Personal Care Assistants for the upcoming 2026/2027 school year—come make a difference! As a Personal Care Assistant (PCA), you will provide vital behavioral, academic, and daily living support to students with diverse special needs (ranging from kindergarten through age 21). Working within our specialized education programs, your focus will be on fostering individual growth, implementing behavior plans, and helping students build the skills they need to successfully transition back to their home districts or communities.
Shifts Available:
7:30 AM - 3:00 PM, Monday-Friday (30‑minute unpaid break)8:30 AM - 3:15 PM, Monday-Friday (30‑minute unpaid break) Essential Responsibilities Provide instructional support to individuals or small groups Assist with daily living needs including feeding, toileting, hygiene, and positioning Monitor and support behavior using established guidelines Support physical development activities with specialists Prepare students for mainstream settings when appropriate Attend required trainings and in‑services Assist with orthopedic equipment and safe lifting/positioning Maintain progress records and documentation Implement positive behavior supports Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams Support social interactions and peer engagement Perform other related duties as needed Required Clearances & Credentials(All must be within the past year, except where noted.) PA Child Abuse Clearance (1 year) PA State Police Criminal Background Check (1 year) FBI Fingerprinting for PA (1 year) TB Test (within 90 days) CPR/First Aid Certification Act 126 Mandated Reporter Training (valid 5 years) #education
