Job Description

Director of Personal Care at Landis Homes Retirement Community Full Time, Salaried Position Provides leadership to the Personal Care services throughout Landis Homes to assure a resident-focused service that is in compliance with all regulatory agencies including the Department of Human Services. Responsible for all Personal Care operations. Directly supports the Personal Care Clinical Care Coordinator, Personal Care Administrative Assistant, Personal Care Scheduler, Personal Care Social Worker, PC Life Enrichment. Bachelor's degree in nursing, LPN, healthcare management, social work or other related field preferred. Holds and maintains current license as Personal Care Administrator or Nursing Home Administrator or willing to obtain within 3 months of employment. Prior supervisory experience in long term care setting, home health or acute care required. Prior experience in Personal Care Management preferred. Proficient in use of computer and related technology required for the role. Good verbal, non-verbal and written communication skills required. Demonstrates leadership, management skills, dependability and a positive demeanor. Demonstrates an understanding of and respect for the values and mission of the organization and its Mennonite/Anabaptist connections.
