Job Description
Openings for overnight caregiver/Direct Care Worker in Sharpsville, PA. Position is providing supervision and care for an elderly clients overnight. These overnight position requires caregiver to remain awake for the duration of the shift. Client is physically independent with assistance. Client has Dementia and requires prompting and supervision to complete tasks.
Option to pick up additional open shifts with this client. Additional hours with other clients throughout the week may also be available if desired.
Shifts available:
Friday 8pm-8am
- $14.00 an hour 7 Days
- 6pm•6 am (this position has flexibility in the timing)•$18.

QUALIFICATIONS:
Must be a minimum of 18 years of age Possesses maturity, and ability to deal effectively with dementia symptoms. Must be patient and comfortable working with Alzheimer's and Dementia. Training is available. Good verbal and written communication skills Criminal background clearance, TB and drug screening. RELIABLE and
RESPONSIBLE
with a willingness to work. Positive and upbeat attitude
Responsibilities:
Caregivers/Direct Care Workers provide personal care as directed including but not limited to: Grooming, bathing, dressing, meal preparation, medication reminders. Light housekeeping, vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, organizing and laundry. Ability to lift using safe management techniques Ability to follow directions and work independently Walking with clients oustide Providing meaningful companionship and safety supervision Must be comfortable with dogs
