Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Live-In Caregiver to provide comprehensive in-home care for individuals requiring assistance with daily activities and medical needs. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in patient care, demonstrate excellent communication skills, and have experience working with geriatric patients or individuals with disabilities. As a Live-In Caregiver, you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for clients by offering personalized support, ensuring safety, and maintaining a respectful, caring environment. Duties Provide personal care assistance including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support to clients. Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as toileting, feeding, and medication reminders. Administer medications accurately following medical documentation and home healthcare regulations. Support clients with memory care needs, including Alzheimer's and dementia care strategies. Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA standards while documenting medical records. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary restrictions and assist with light housekeeping tasks including cleaning and laundry. Provide emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being during long-term or hospice care situations. Skills Extensive experience working with geriatric patients, individuals with disabilities, or those requiring hospice or end-of-life care Familiarity with home health care assistance, home & community care standards, and relevant regulations. Strong caregiving skills including assisting with mobility, personal hygiene, and ADLs Excellent communication skills for client interaction, family updates, and team collaboration. home health agency experience preferred. Ability to work independently in a live-in setting while maintaining professional boundaries and confidentiality.
