Job Description

We are seeking compassionate and reliable Personal Care Attendants (PCAs) to provide in-home support to individuals who need assistance with daily living activities. We service all of Schuylkill County, to include, but not limited to: Tamaqua, Pottsville, Frackville, Orwigsburg, Pine Grove and surrounding areas. This position is ideal for individuals who enjoy helping others and making a meaningful difference in their community.
Responsibilities:
Assist consumers with activities of daily living including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Provide mobility assistance, transfers, and positioning when needed Prepare meals and assist with feeding if necessary Perform light housekeeping such as laundry, dishes, and tidying living spaces Provide companionship and emotional support Assist with errands, grocery shopping, and transportation to appointments when required Support consumers in participating in community activities and social engagement Follow each consumers individual service plan and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor Accurately document hours and services provided Qualifications Must have reliable transportation to travel to multiple consumer locations during designated shift. Ability to pass background checks and complete required training High school diploma or GED preferred Previous caregiving or home care experience needed Compassionate, dependable, and patient personality Ability to work independently in different home environments
