AncoraTN (ATN), formerly End Slavery Tennessee, works tirelessly to nurture survivor healing and strategically combat human trafficking in Middle Tennessee. We seek to break cycles of exploitation and support survivors of human trafficking as they heal from their traumas offering long-term, comprehensive aftercare services. Through training communities and professionals, advocating for legal changes, and implementing prevention programming, AncoraTN works to stop human trafficking before it ever begins. AncoraTN was founded in 2012 as a faith-based, not-for-profit organization for the purpose of community awareness and education. Residential and Community Care Program Manager

POSITION SUMMARY

PRN Residential Support staff will provide services to survivors of human trafficking in Middle Tennessee utilizing ATN's in-house services, contacts, community service providers and other collaborations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Monitor the houses for issues that may arise and provide the first level of supervision and support for the homes. Provide all necessary participant documentation in Apricot. Dispense medications for safe house clients as needed. Provide additional support to Housing Staff as needed. Call and inform oncall staff when crisis situations arise Maintain order in the homes as much as possible and using appropriate deescalation techniques. Assist in welcoming new residents in the Supportive Living/Emergency Suite and coordinating with Intervention Specialist, Residential Staff, and Survivor Care Coordinators to make sure new residents are welcomed appropriately. Manage after hour programming for the residence (groups, classes, transport from individual houses to groups, troubleshooting issues inhouse, maintaining safety at the home). Manage interpersonal conflict and create solutions with clients using a strengthsbased approach. Comply with agency policy and procedures, maintaining all required documentation, including reporting for grants, in a professional and timely manner. Communicate, confer with, and coordinate care for clients with other direct services team members. Support operational duties of light housekeeping, monitor on site vendors, ensuring no interaction between vendors and participants, stocking offices with supplies, and other overnight facility needs as requested. Any other tasks given by supervisor. The work of aftercare is diverse and complex, including a broad range of activities and frequently changing conditions, situations, and problems. The PRN Residential Support must be able to analyze problems and make prudent decisions while interpreting a variety of factors, problems and alternative methods and procedures, and know when to bring in counsel from their supervisor. The PRN Residential Support must be willing and able to work in a trauma-informed, strengths-based culture and to make good, contextualized decisions at a moment's notice.

Essential Functions:

Establish strong, appropriate, and caring working relationships with victims of human trafficking in the safe house environment. Clients may include both minors and adults. Coordinate closely with the Resident and Community Care Program Manager and other staff members to carry out the mission and in development of an everimproving system of care for the survivors we serve. Maintain uptodate documentation on clients and services for grant reporting and research purposes.

Additional Responsibilities:

Uphold professional boundaries in the housing setting with participants Perform other agencyrelated duties or special projects, as directed by supervisor. Duties may change according to organizational needs. Provide transportation for safe house residents. All positions at AncoraTN interact with survivors of human trafficking from day to day. This issue is sensitive and complex. TN. WORK ENVIRONMENT

Work is carried out primarily in an office setting with intermittent sitting, standing, walking, and some light physical activity. Most work is performed while sitting and using the computer, phone, and engaged in face-to-face conversation with staff and/or clients. Some car travel and use of personal vehicle is required. Must be able to operate both personal and staff vehicle. This position is an in-office position. It is not eligible to work from home and must report into the office for all scheduled shifts.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, AND SKILLS

High school diploma or equivalent required. Understanding of traumainformed care. Demonstrated ability to understand and implement best practices around services for atrisk individuals and families. Demonstrated ability to deescalate volatile situations. Demonstrated excellence in time management, scheduling, and punctuality. Peopleoriented with demonstrated ability to build rapport and gain trust with diverse populations. Ability and willingness to work irregular hours. Ability to work effectively under pressure. Excellent organizational and communication skills, both written and oral, and prompt response to messages. Able to maintain confidentiality, as required by law and in the best interests of survivors, staff and the agency. Fast learner, quick mind, capacity for hard work, teachable and flexible. Valid driver's license, staterequired driver's insurance, and access to reliable personal transportation. Experience in case and/or residential management or equivalent position with experience working with trauma, substance abuse, sexual exploitation, victim assistance, child protective services, youth in foster care or human trafficking populations. Fast learner, quick mind, capacity for hard work, teachable and flexible. A working knowledge of mainstream resources.

ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS

Initial and subsequent random drug screening is required as per agency policy. A background check is required. Must be willing and able to embrace and exemplify our core values.

JOB TYPE

PRN (as needed), hours can vary from 12a-12a. Non-traditional work hours and weeks will apply. Weekends, evenings, and holidays may be requested. Some travel may be required.

SALARY AND BENEFITS

Hourly rate: $19/hr

PRN Benefits:

Employer 403b match up to 1% of salary based on employee contributions and dependent on annual board vote. Eligible after 6 months of employment
