Residential Care Counselor (Per Diem)
Job Description
East Greenwich & Exeter, RI Locations $20-24/hour Variable Shifts Make a difference in the lives of children and adolescents every day. Bradley Hospital is seeking compassionate, dependable individuals to join our team as Residential Care Counselors . In this hands-on role, you'll provide care, supervision, and therapeutic support to youth receiving residential behavioral health services while helping create a safe, structured, and supportive environment. What You'll Do Support children and adolescents in daily routines, activities, and personal care needs Implement treatment and behavior support plans Monitor and document patient progress and observations Respond to crises using therapeutic interventions Collaborate with clinicians, nurses, and other treatment team members Build positive relationships with patients and families Provide personal care where it is required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in a Human Services field preferred (equivalent education and experience considered) 6 months to 1 year of experience working with children, adolescents, or individuals with behavioral health needs Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment CPR and crisis management certification preferred Clean driving record- this position requires Counselors to transport residents in a small passenger van Why Bradley Hospital?
