Resident Assistant Spring Arbor of Anderson Full-Time | 1st, 2nd, & 3rd Shifts Available |Same Day Pay & Shift Differential Are you a compassionate, caring person who loves making a difference in someone's day? Spring Arbor of Anderson is looking for a dedicated Resident Assistant to provide hands-on care and support to our Assisted Living residents. Under the guidance of our Resident Services Director, you'll help create a warm, safe, and positive environment for the people who call our community home. What You'll Do Approach every interaction with residents and fellow associates in a friendly, service-oriented way Assist residents with daily living activities — bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, bed linens, positioning, transfers, mobility, medication reminders, and incontinence care Maintain accurate records, including resident service plans and documentation of care provided Stay familiar with each resident's service plan to ensure personalized, consistent care Communicate closely with the Resident Services team for seamless continuity of care Help promote a safe environment for residents, associates, and visitors Support the day-to-day programming and operations of the neighborhood What You Bring At least 18 years of age High school diploma or equivalent 1+ year of related health care experience Dementia training completion (required for communities with an Ensemble Program) Ability to pass a criminal background screening Willingness to comply with our drug-free workplace policy Nice to Have CPR and First Aid certification (preferred or as required by your state) CNA or NA license/certification, in good standing (state-dependent) Experience with computerized resident documentation systems
