Assists clients with daily tasks including bathing, medication reminders, and light housekeeping; may also provide transportation for appointments and errands. These roles do not always require formal certification.

Weekly Pay Position Overview We are looking for a dependable, compassionate, flexible, and experienced Lead Caregiver to join our growing team. This position is perfect for someone who loves providing quality care but is also ready to take on additional responsibilities and serve as a leader within our caregiving team. As a Lead Caregiver, you will help ensure our clients continue receiving dependable care when staffing needs change. You will be responsible for starting up new clients, filling in when caregivers call out, training new caregivers, and providing hands-on care to clients. This position requires flexibility. Your client assignment and work location may change depending on the needs of the agency. You will also have a time that you are on call. Responsibilities Assist with new client start-ups and help clients and families transition smoothly into services. Fill in and provide client coverage when a caregiver calls out or a shift becomes unexpectedly available . Provide assistance with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) , including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, mobility, and personal care. Prepare meals based on clients' needs and preferences. Provide companionship and meaningful interaction. Assist with approved transportation, appointments, errands, and shopping. Observe and report changes in a client's condition, behavior, or needs to the appropriate office staff. Complete accurate and timely documentation for all services provided. Maintain client privacy and provide care with dignity, respect, patience, and compassion . Help train and support new caregivers in the field. Follow client care plans and agency policies and procedures. Maintain professional communication with clients, families, caregivers, and office staff. Remain available and responsive to phone calls and messages regarding client care and coverage needs. As our agency continues to grow, you may occasionally be asked to assist in the office with special projects, administrative duties, caregiver support, or other agency needs . Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of caregiving experience required . CNA preferred, but not required. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to answer and respond to phone calls and messages in a timely manner . Must have reliable transportation and be willing to travel to assigned client locations. Must be dependable, punctual, flexible, and professional . Ability to work independently and take initiative. Comfortable training and providing guidance to new caregivers. Must demonstrate compassion, patience, dignity, and respect when working with clients. Ability to properly document services and report changes in client condition. Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening . Must be available to work Monday-Friday and every other weekend . Must be willing and able to work with different clients and adjust assignments based on agency needs.
