Job Description
Symbolic Healthcare is looking for caring and dependable caregivers to support clients in their homes. This role is ideal for someone who is compassionate, responsible, and comfortable providing hands-on assistance while respecting each client's independence and dignity. What You'll Do Help clients with personal care and everyday routines such as bathing, dressing, grooming, eating, and meal preparation. Provide friendly companionship and emotional encouragement. Give medication reminders and observe clients for changes in their condition. Support clients with mobility and prescribed physical therapy activities. Help maintain a clean, comfortable, and safe home environment. Communicate appropriately with clients, family members, and members of the healthcare team. Record and communicate relevant changes in a client's health, behavior, or needs. Provide reliable coverage when caregiver support is needed. What We're Looking For High school diploma or equivalent. At least 1 year of caregiving experience . Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Compassionate, patient, and dependable approach to client care. Ability to assist clients with physical tasks, including lifting and mobility support. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to successfully pass a background check in all 50 states. Preferred Certifications CNA certification preferred. First Aid certification preferred. CPR certification preferred. Location & Schedule Requirements This is an in-person position in Anderson, SC 29624 . Day-shift availability is required , and applicants must be able to reliably commute to the Anderson area.
