Job Summary Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver, where you will play a vital role in enhancing the quality of life for individuals requiring personal assistance and support within their own homes. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by checking vital signs, observing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately Administer medications following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences, ensuring safety and hygiene standards are maintained Support patients with mobility using proper manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being, especially for those with dementia, Alzheimer's, or neurodevelopmental disorders Maintain a clean and safe environment through regular cleaning tasks and organization of personal spaces Assist with transportation to medical appointments, community activities, or errands to foster independence and social engagement Follow all safety protocols including CPR and First Aid procedures to ensure client safety at all times Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement personalized care plans that meet each client's unique needs Experience Prior experience working in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings is highly preferred Demonstrated ability to provide patient personal care assistance and support for individuals with disabilities or developmental challenges Knowledge of dementia care, memory care, hospice care, and Alzheimer's care best practices Experience working with seniors or individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders such as autism or intellectual disabilities Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques including vital signs assessment and medication administration Hands-on experience using patient transfer equipment like Hoyer lifts or other manual handling devices Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation in compliance with HIPAA standards Join us to make a meaningful difference every day!
