Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent. Valid certification in CPR and First Aid. Prior experience in caregiving or a related healthcare support role. Ability to pass background checks and comply with state-specific caregiving regulations. Strong communication skills and basic proficiency in English.

Preferred Qualifications:

Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) certification. Experience working with elderly clients or individuals with disabilities. Training in specialized care areas such as dementia or Alzheimer's disease. Additional language skills to communicate with diverse client populations. Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems or caregiving documentation software.

Responsibilities:

Assist clients with activities of daily living such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to maintain personal hygiene and comfort. Provide medication reminders and assist with mobility to ensure client safety and adherence to prescribed health regimens. Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary, accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences. Offer companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of isolation and promote mental well-being. Monitor and report any changes in client health or behavior to family members or healthcare professionals promptly. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized living environment by performing light housekeeping tasks. Support clients in engaging with community resources and activities to encourage social interaction and independence.
