Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, meal prep and mobility support using manual handling techniques and equipment like Hoyer lifts. Monitor patient health by observing vital signs, noting changes in condition, and reporting findings to nursing staff or supervisors promptly. Follow HIPAA guidelines and care plans established by healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist residents during meal times to promote proper nutrition. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties, laundry services, and ensuring infection control protocols are followed. Observe residents' behaviors and communicate any concerns related to dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder, or other developmental disabilities to the care team. Support residents' emotional well-being through active engagement, companionship, and participation in social activities within the community or home setting. Qualifications Must have diploma or GED Must be at least 18 years old Reliable Transporation Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred. Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform manual handling tasks while maintaining proper body mechanics. Strong communication skills with the ability to follow detailed care plans and document observations accurately. Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care that promotes independence and dignity.
