Overview Join our compassionate team as an In Home Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized, attentive care. In this vital role, you will provide comprehensive support to clients in their homes, fostering independence, safety, and well-being. Responsibilities Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene to promote comfort and dignity. Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, recognizing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals. Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary. Support clients with mobility and transfers using appropriate techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods to ensure safety. Administer medications following care plans and maintain detailed documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations. Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in meaningful activities to enhance mental well-being. Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces. Support clients during outings or appointments by providing personal transportation assistance and ensuring their safety during community engagement. Requirements Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care environments such as assisted living or nursing homes. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, dementia care (including Alzheimer's and memory care), hospice care, and home health practices. Ability to perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting, patient transfers using Hoyer lifts, and assisting with ADLs safely. Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are preferred. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and team collaboration. Experience working with individuals with neurodevelopmental disorders or autism is highly valued.
