The Role We are seeking a warm, attentive, and dependable Personalized Living Aide to join our team at Martha Franks! In this key direct-care role, you will work closely with our residents to provide individualized support with daily activities, ensuring they maintain their independence, dignity, and quality of life. Key Responsibilities Individualized Care Delivery:
Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, mobility assistance, and personal hygiene according to their personalized care plan.
Resident Engagement & Support:
Provide compassionate companionship, assist residents with light housekeeping tasks, and encourage participation in daily campus activities and social events.
Observation & Reporting:
Observe and report any changes in physical, mental, or emotional condition promptly to the Personalized Living Manager or shift supervisor.
Meal & Wellness Support:
Assist residents during mealtimes, help monitor hydration and nutrition, and support safe movement throughout the community.
Safety & Dignity:
Maintain resident privacy, confidentiality, and dignity at all times while upholding safety protocols and infection control standards.
Qualifications Experience:
Prior experience as a Caregiver, Personal Care Aide (PCA), or CNA in a Senior Living, Assisted Living, or Home Health setting preferred.
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent.
Certifications:
CPR/First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain upon hire).
Interpersonal Skills:
Strong verbal communication skills, active listening, and a patient, empathetic demeanor.
