Summary As a Caregiver at Palmetto Family Homecare, you will play a vital role in providing compassionate and personalized care to our clients in their homes. This position is essential to our mission of delivering exceptional support to families while fostering an environment of trust and reliability. Responsibilities Provide personal care services to clients, including assistance with daily living activities. Support clients with specialized care for neurological disorders and autism. Maintain a safe and clean environment for clients while adhering to health and safety standards. Document client progress and communicate effectively with family members and healthcare professionals. Assist with meal preparation and ensure proper nutrition for clients. Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote their well-being and independence. Follow HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality and privacy. Build strong relationships with clients and their families to enhance their overall experience. Qualifications Experience in patient care or caregiving roles, particularly with dementia or neurological disorders. Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and commitment to maintaining client confidentiality. Strong interpersonal skills to build rapport with clients and families. Ability to perform physical tasks related to caregiving safely. Compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others. Experience in home community care or assisted living is preferred but not required. Basic cooking skills are beneficial for meal preparation.
