Do you have a passion to serve and support seniors in our community? If so, Seniors Helping Seniors® - Grand Strand is a must apply for you! Seniors Helping Seniors® Grand Strand ("SHS Grand Strand") in-home care services offer support for seniors who wish to remain active and independent from the comfort of home. We're looking to add to our team and are searching for mature, compassionate individuals to assist seniors in the community. At SHS Grand Strand, Caregivers provide services that are integral to our overall service portfolio . Caregivers can provide companionship, light house cleaning, transportation, medication reminders, and personal care to support activities of daily living (ADL's). What do we look for in a Caregiver ? Our senior Caregivers need to have a passion for helping seniors continue to live independently and a willingness to be trained to provide quality care. Our Caregivers should encompass the following traits:
- Ability to relate to the aging process
- Find enjoyment helping other seniors navigate challenges that growing older can bring
- Compassionate and empathetic to the needs of the senior community
- Willing to share life stories, interests, and hobbies to build relationships All team members must meet minimum role requirements and successfully complete the pre-employment process, including but not limited to a drug screen and background check (including MVR for those engaged in transport) prior to employment.
