Duties Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting, ensuring comfort and respect at all times Monitor participant health by observing vital signs, recognizing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding when necessary, accommodating dietary restrictions and preferences Operate patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and safe transfer techniques to ensure safe mobility and prevent injury Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing routine cleaning tasks and adhering to infection control protocols Document care activities, observations, and communication with team members clearly and thoroughly in compliance with healthcare standards Experience Prior experience working with individuals with disabilities, developmental or intellectual disabilities support, or senior care is highly preferred Group home experience, assisted living experience, or nursing home background is advantageous Knowledge of dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care, and hospice care enhances your ability to provide specialized support Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques such as vital signs measurement and patient personal care assistance is essential Experience working with individuals with autism or neuro developmental disorders demonstrates versatility in caregiving skills Assisting with patient transfer methods ensuring effective support for participant mobility needs Join us if you're passionate about caregiving and eager to develop your skills in a dynamic environment dedicated to enriching lives through compassionate support.
