THIS IS A TEMPORARY POSITION AND PRN HOURS ONLY!

Responsibilities Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting to ensure comfort and dignity Monitor patients' health status by observing vital signs, patient behavior, and overall condition; report any concerns promptly Support medication administration following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist with meal planning and cooking as required Facilitate safe patient transfers using appropriate manual handling techniques and equipment such as Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods Provide transportation assistance for appointments, errands, or community activities to promote social engagement and independence.

YOU MUST HAVE YOUR OWN VEHICLE WITH CURRENT INSURANCE AND VALID DRIVER'S LICENSE!

Maintain a clean, safe environment by performing light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces Skills Proven experience working with individuals with disabilities, neurodevelopmental disorders, or aging populations in settings such as group homes, nursing homes, or assisted living facilities Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, medication administration, and first aid/CPR certification Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, memory care strategies, and resident's rights within long-term care environments Ability to assist with complex mobility needs using manual handling equipment like Hoyer lifts or patient transfer methods safely Excellent communication skills for effective client interaction and collaboration with healthcare teams while maintaining HIPAA compliance Experience supporting individuals with autism or developmental disabilities through personalized care plans and behavioral support strategies Capable of heavy lifting when necessary while ensuring safety protocols are followed during patient transfers or mobility assistance This role offers a fulfilling career path for caring professionals eager to provide compassionate support while developing their expertise in diverse healthcare environments.
