Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Lead Caregiver to join our team and provide exceptional support to individuals in both assisted living and memory care. As a Lead Caregiver, you will play a vital role in hiring, training, and supervising caregivers to assist residents with daily activities and ensure the safety, comfort, and well-being of those in your care. Responsibilities Hire, train, and supervise caregiving staff including scheduling the team. Supervise and mentor caregiving staff, ensuring high-quality care delivery aligned with individual care plans Assist residents or clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patient health by taking vital signs, observing behavior, and reporting changes to healthcare professionals Administer medications following HIPAA guidelines and prescribed schedules while maintaining accurate documentation Support residents with memory care needs, including dementia or Alzheimer's disease, through personalized engagement and safety measures Ensure compliance with all safety protocols including CPR, First Aid, HIPAA regulations, and infection control standards Skills Proven experience in assisted living, home health, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior care Strong knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Familiarity with dementia care, Alzheimer's care, and hospice support Ability to perform heavy lifting safely Excellent communication skills for working collaboratively with team members, residents, families, and healthcare providers Demonstrated ability to follow detailed care plans while maintaining flexibility for changing needs Knowledge of HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy of patient information Join us as a Lead Caregiver if you're passionate about making a meaningful difference in people's lives through compassionate caregiving.
