Job Description

Overview We are actively seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Professional Caregivers to provide exceptional care and support to individuals in need across multiple locations, including, Robbins, Wartburg, Oneida, and McMinnville. This vital role involves delivering personalized assistance that enhances the quality of life for clients while promoting independence and dignity within their homes. Our caregivers are committed to fostering a safe, respectful, and engaging environment through attentive patient care, meticulous observation, and compassionate support. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those requiring long-term or short-term care. Responsibilities Provide comprehensive personal care assistance, including help with activities of daily living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support using patient transfer methods like Hoyer lifts when necessary. Monitor and observe patients' health status and recognizing changes in condition, and reporting findings accurately to healthcare professionals. Assist with medication reminders following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure patient confidentiality. Support clients with meal preparation tailored to dietary needs, including special diets for conditions such as dementia. Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing personal spaces. Document care activities accurately in compliance with home health standards and communicate effectively with clients' families or healthcare teams to ensure continuity of care. Requirements Proven experience working with individuals requiring assisted living, geriatrics, hospice care, or memory care; experience in group homes or nursing homes is highly desirable. Knowledge of patient observation techniques, medication management, and patient monitoring protocols. Familiarity with specialized care for Alzheimer's and dementia. Strong communication skills with the ability to engage empathetically with clients and their families while maintaining professionalism. Experience working with the elderly individuals is advantageous; familiarity with care plans and social work principles is a plus. Pay:
$15.50 - $17.00 per hour
