Job Description

Private In-home Caregiver Overview:
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Private In-Home Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to an individual in his home. This vital role involves assisting client with daily activities. As a caregiver, you will play a crucial part in enhancing the quality of life of this client through attentive, respectful, and professional support. Duties Assist clients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene. Monitor patients' health by observing vital signs, managing medication administration, and reporting any changes in condition. Support clients with mobility and transfers using proper techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods to ensure safety. Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal planning and preparation. Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and social engagement. Maintain detailed care plans, document patient observations, and communicate effectively with healthcare teams while adhering to HIPAA regulations. Perform light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment. Qualifications Proven experience working as a caregiver in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or similar settings. Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques including blood sugar checks, vital signs measurement and medication management. Ability to safely perform manual handling tasks including heavy lifting and patient transfers using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts. Strong communication skills for effective client interaction and documentation of care activities. A compassionate attitude combined with patience, reliability, and a commitment to providing high-quality home & community care.

$25.00 per hour
