A Caregiver or Personal Care Aide provides non-medical care for adults, including elderly and disabled people, typically in their own homes. Assists clients with daily tasks including bathing, medication reminders, and light housekeeping; may also provide transportation for appointments and errands. These roles do not always require formal certification.
Starting at $17.00/hour-$20.00/hour, based on experience Brighter Days Home Care is a family-owned and operated Home Care Agency currently serving over 250 clients across Tennessee. We're expanding our team and looking for reliable, compassionate caregivers to provide non-medical, in-home support to seniors and individuals with disabilities. If you're a Home Health Aide (HHA), Caregiver, or Personal Care Assistant (PCA) looking for meaningful part-time work—you've found the right place. This role covers two clients in the Winchester/Decherd area, with shifts spread across nearly the whole week.
Responsibilities:
Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Prepare simple meals and assist with feeding as needed Perform light housekeeping (laundry, tidying, etc.) Provide companionship and emotional support Monitor and document changes in client health or behavior Communicate effectively with families, supervisors, and care teams
Requirements:
Prior experience as a Caregiver, PCA, CNA, or HHA preferred but not required A kind, patient, and client-centered approach to care Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift, transfer, and assist clients with mobility Reliable transportation and valid driver's license (travel between Winchester and Decherd required) Ability to work independently and follow care plans
