Job Description

Overview Join our compassionate team as a Private Caregiver and make a meaningful difference in the lives of individuals requiring personalized care and support. This vital role involves providing attentive, respectful, and comprehensive assistance to promote independence, safety, and well-being. As a dedicated caregiver, you will work closely with clients and their families to deliver tailored care plans that meet each person's unique needs. Your energy, empathy, and attention to detail will help create a comfortable and supportive environment for those you serve. Duties Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Monitor patients' vital signs and observe changes in health status to ensure safety and well-being Administer medications accurately following prescribed care plans while maintaining HIPAA compliance for privacy protection Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary requirements and assist with feeding if necessary Support patients with mobility using equipment like Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to prevent injury and promote independence Maintain detailed documentation of care activities, patient observations, and any incidents or changes in condition Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organizing to ensure a safe living environment Skills Proven experience in home health, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings with a focus on senior or disability care Knowledge of Alzheimer's care, dementia management, memory care techniques, and hospice support strategies Ability to assist with complex medical needs such as medication administration, vital signs monitoring, and patient observation Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to protect patient confidentiality at all times Excellent communication skills for working effectively with clients, families, healthcare professionals, and team members Physical ability for heavy lifting and assisting with mobility aids; familiarity with Hoyer lifts preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism spectrum disorders is highly valued CPR and First Aid certifications are required; ongoing training in patient safety is encouraged Compassionate attitude combined with reliable time management skills to deliver consistent, high-quality care Join us in providing exceptional private caregiving that enriches lives through dedicated service. Pay:
$21.89 - $26.36 per hour
