Overnigtht Caregiver

Job Overview We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Overnight Caregiver to provide exceptional care and support to individuals during nighttime hours. This vital role ensures the safety, comfort, and well-being of residents or clients in various care settings, including assisted living facilities, nursing homes, and private residence. The Overnight Caregiver plays a key role in monitoring patient health, assisting with personal care needs, and maintaining a safe environment throughout the night. Responsibilities Monitor residents or clients throughout the night, observing for any changes in condition or behavior. Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. Maintain accurate documentation of patient observations, care provided, and incident reports. Ensure the environment remains clean and safe by performing light cleaning duties and adhering to infection control protocols. Collaborate with nursing staff and social workers to implement individualized care plans focused on dementia, Alzheimer's, or other memory-related conditions. Assist with meal preparation and feeding for residents requiring help during overnight hours.. Experience Prior experience working as a Professional Caregiver. Experience caring for individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, or Alzheimer's disease is advantageous. Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and maintaining confidentiality of patient information is essential. Knowledge of care plans tailored to individual needs in long-term care settings or hospice environments is beneficial.
