Part-Time Job Overview:
Neni's Childcare is seeking a caring, dependable, and motivated individual to join our team! We are looking for someone who is patient, creative, and passionate about working with young children , including those with disabilities. The ideal candidate is a team player, eager to learn, and ready to step into a teacher role when needed. You will help create a safe, nurturing, and fun learning environment where children can grow socially, emotionally, and academically.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Supervise and ensure the safety of children at all times. Plan and lead age-appropriate activities that promote learning and creativity. Support children's individual needs, including those with disabilities, with patience and understanding. Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom environment. Assist with daily routines such as meals, diapering, and toileting. Communicate effectively with parents and staff. Follow all center policies and Texas Minimum Standards for Child Care Homes. Participate in ongoing training and staff meetings. Step into a lead teacher role when needed.
Qualifications:
Must be at least 18 years old. Previous experience working with children preferred but not required. CPR and First Aid certification required (we can assist with training upon hire). Must be able to pass a background check and fingerprinting. Flexible and reliable schedule (open availability preferred). Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and ability to work as part of a team.
