This role offers an exciting opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of residents, ensuring their safety, comfort, and dignity are maintained at all times. The ideal candidate will bring energy, empathy, and a proactive attitude to help foster a positive and nurturing environment. This paid position is perfect for someone passionate about caregiving, with a focus on delivering personalized care in various settings such as group homes, assisted living facilities, or home health environments. Duties Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, dressing, and mobility support using proper manual handling techniques such as Hoyer lifts and patient transfer methods Monitor residents' health by taking vital signs, observing patient conditions, and reporting changes promptly to healthcare professionals Administer medications accurately following care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations to ensure confidentiality and privacy Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and assist residents with meal consumption when necessary Support residents with personal transportation for appointments, outings, or community activities Maintain cleanliness of living spaces by performing regular cleaning tasks in accordance with health standards Document care activities thoroughly, update care plans regularly, and ensure residents' rights are respected at all times Experience Prior experience working in group homes, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home health environments is highly preferred Proven ability to provide patient observation and monitor vital signs effectively Experience working with individuals with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, autism spectrum disorder (ASD), developmental disabilities, or neurodevelopmental disorders is advantageous Knowledge of medication administration procedures and first aid/CPR certification is required Familiarity with patient transfer methods such as Hoyer lifts and patient personal care assistance techniques is essential Strong communication skills for client interaction and team collaboration are necessary Demonstrated understanding of resident's rights, HIPAA compliance, and confidentiality standards Join our team to deliver compassionate care that truly makes a difference!
