This vital role involves providing personalized, in-home assistance to individuals across various age groups and health conditions, ensuring their safety, comfort, and independence. You will deliver essential support with a focus on fostering a positive and respectful environment, empowering clients to thrive in their own homes. Responsibilities Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support Administer medication reminders and monitor health status as directed by healthcare professionals Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness and promote mental well-being Perform light housekeeping tasks including meal preparation, laundry, and maintaining a clean living environment Follow care plans meticulously, documenting observations and any changes in client condition Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare teams to coordinate care needs Ensure safety protocols are adhered to at all times, including fall prevention and emergency response procedures Skills Previous experience in home care or related settings is highly valued Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build trusting relationships with clients and families Knowledge of medical-surgical care practices and post-acute care procedures Familiarity with Level II trauma center experience, hospital medicine, emergency medicine, or Level I Trauma Center protocols is a plus Experience working with Geriatrics, PICU (Pediatric Intensive Care Unit), outpatient clinics, or sub-acute care environments enhances your suitability for this role Ability to follow detailed care instructions accurately and maintain thorough documentation Compassionate attitude combined with patience, flexibility, and excellent communication skills This position is an excellent opportunity for dedicated caregivers eager to provide impactful support in a rewarding environment.
