This energetic role involves ensuring safety, assisting with daily activities, and delivering personalized care to promote comfort, independence, and well-being. The ideal candidate will be proactive, attentive, and committed to creating a positive environment for those in their care. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of clients while working in a dynamic and rewarding setting. Duties Monitor residents' health and safety throughout the night, including vital signs and patient observation Assist with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting Administer medication and manage care plans in accordance with healthcare protocols and HIPAA regulations Provide companionship and emotional support to reduce feelings of loneliness or anxiety Prepare nutritious meals aligned with dietary needs and assist with meal cleanup Conduct light cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment Utilize specialized equipment like Hoyer lifts or other mobility aids to assist residents with movement or transfers Document patient status, incidents, and care activities accurately for ongoing communication with healthcare teams Requirements Proven experience in home health care, assisted living, nursing homes, or group home settings Knowledge of patient care procedures including assisting with ADLs, medication administration, and vital signs monitoring Certification in CPR and First Aid is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA training are preferred Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia (including Alzheimer's), autism, or memory care needs Ability to lift heavy objects safely and perform physically demanding tasks as needed Strong observational skills for patient monitoring and recognizing changes in condition Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with clients' families and healthcare providers Compassionate attitude with a commitment to providing respectful, person-centered care Join us in delivering compassionate overnight care that enhances the quality of life for those we serve.
